Pacific Coast National Bank opened its doors on May 16 in Encinitas and San Clemente with a handpicked group of highly experienced bankers and $22.8 million in capital, far exceeding the $17 million goal.
Pacific Coast offers a broad range of commercial and consumer banking services targeted to small and medium-sized businesses, professionals and individuals. Offering local ownership and control allows the bank to provide customized solutions through personalized service and experienced leadership.
The 28 directors and organizers of Pacific Coast National Bank represent the best of their respective fields -- education, pharmaceutical, banking, construction, engineering, real estate -- and are proud to establish a bank that meets the needs of individuals and businesses in South Orange County and North San Diego County regions.
The board of directors chose Michael S. Hahn as president and chief operating officer because of his 22-year banking career in San Diego and Orange County. He knows the value of both customer and employee loyalty and the importance of maintaining these relationships.
Hahn has also been extremely active as a community leader serving as a board member on local nonprofit boards. He has been a member of Rotary International since 1985 and has twice served as a president.
